Automower cannot find charging station
Robotic mower stops with empty battery and cannot find its way to the charging station. Guide wire defective or search settings incorrectly configured.
Automower not charging at charging station
Charging station shows no signal or mower doesn't dock properly. Oxidized contacts or incorrect alignment of the charging station are the most common causes.
Cutting system blocked – Blades not turning
Blade disc is blocked by grass residue or strings. Blades no longer turn or only rotate with restriction, mower stops working.
Collision sensor problem – Mower stops constantly
Collision sensor reports error without apparent reason. Grass accumulation under bumpers or incorrectly mounted housing are main causes.
No loop signal – Blue LED flashing
Charging station shows blue flashing LED. Cable break in boundary or guide wire prevents signal transmission, mower cannot start.
Wheel motor blocked or overloaded
Drive wheel no longer turns or error message wheel motor overloaded. Often blocked by grass, with 315 models also possible gearbox damage.
PIN code forgotten – Mower locked
Automower cannot be started because PIN code is forgotten. Recovery via app or dealer contact necessary. Proof of purchase required.
Not following schedule
Mower doesn't start at programmed time or stays in charging station. Usually battery temperature, forbidden zones or incorrect settings as cause.
Battery problems – Short operating time
Battery only lasts for a short time (under 60 min). Normal aging after 2-4 years or incorrect winter storage. Battery replacement necessary.
Lift sensor error – Upside down/Lifted
Error message Upside down or Lifted appears. Safety function activated by lifting, obstacles or defective sensor.
Uneven cutting and lawn stripes
Lawn is mowed unevenly with grass tufts and stripes. Dull blades or too short mowing time are most common reasons.
WiFi/Bluetooth connection drops
Automower Connect app loses connection or mower is offline. WiFi signal too weak or router settings problematic.
Firmware update failed
Update interrupted or mower doesn't start after update. Restart and update retry with full battery usually successful.
Boundary wire damaged
Cable break due to scarifying or garden work. Break point must be located and repaired with cable connector.
Display not working
Display remains dark or shows illegible characters. Moisture or defective display cable are common causes.
Mower not driving – Drive defective
Automower doesn't drive at all or only in circles. Wheel motor, gearbox or drive wheels defective. Cleaning or replacement necessary.
Problems after winter break
Mower doesn't start after winter or battery doesn't charge. Deep discharge due to incorrect storage or corrosion on contacts.
Alarm – Theft protection activated
Mower sounds loud alarm and reports Mower stopped. Theft protection activated by lifting or STOP button. PIN entry required.
Battery temperature outside limits
Mower doesn't work when battery is too hot or cold. Charging station in sun or operation below 5°C. Adjust location or schedule.
Adjust mowing in rain
Activate or deactivate weather timer for operation in rain. Adjust or clean rain sensor for reliable function.
